Crawling

Humility is a virtue.  I used to joke you could make a Hollywood-style sign as an ode to how very HUMBLE I am.

One of my favorite movie lines is when Wesley Snipes is asked how he got into the White House and he says "I crawled."

But I'm getting to the point of finding Bono's references to crawling sickening. 

My love, she throws me like a rubber ball

Oh-oh, the sweetest thing

She won't catch me or break my fall

I wanted to run, but she made me crawl

And if you watch the pukeworthy video for this song about an abusive relationship, I think it's the only clip of him I've ever seen where he's a distinctly unattractive sniveling,  groveling, emasculated, pathetic character. 

Normally he's one of the hottest guys in rock.  Until you put him in a "romantic" video with his ball and chain.

Methinks Bono is a battered husband, frankly.
